WordPress Password Reset

We’ve all done it before, no matter what password you choose, now matter how much you convinced yourself you’d remember it, or that you wrote it somewhere safe, you find yourself unable to log in to your website. Don’t panic, the first thing you should always do is attempt a password reset. It’s fast, simple, and the first thing you should always try if you are locked out (especially since many WordPress installation have an extra security plugin that locks logins after too many attempts).

All you do is enter the email address you used when creating your WordPress site. WordPress sends you a link you can use to reset your password. Simple. If you don’t get an email after 15 minutes, make sure to check your spam folder. If you see an email address that doesn’t look familiar, you want to contact your hosting provider.
